ERP Applications Support Analyst – Canterbury, Kent – circ £38,000 - £45,000
An exciting opportunity has become available for an ERP Applications Support Analyst (Software Support Analyst) to join a small highly skilled team based on the outskirts of Canterbury in Kent. The ERP Applications Support Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients current IFS 9 application as well as getting involved in the project to upgrade to the latest IFS Cloud solution. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with an ERP Applications Manager that is keen to mentor, develop and upskill someone who has experience supporting an ERP system and that’s passionate about providing outstanding service to the user community. The core function of the position is split approx. 50/50 between day-to-day support and project related work. Support consists of system admin tasks and responding to requests which range from helping to login, providing access & permissions, adding / removing users, analysing error logs, debugging code, system training, user induction, running reports etc. Project work is varied and deals with any enhancements, changes, improvements and upgrades that will invariably involve co-ordinating with development teams, testing, documentation, training etc. This is a business facing role that requires the post-holder to provide deskside assistance and therefore you’re required on site 3 days per week (you can work from home 2 days). The clients HQ is based close to Canterbury, and they have multiple sites across Kent and other parts of England that will need occasional visits. It’s therefore important the post holder has a driving licence and use of own vehicle (pool cars can be used to visit other sites and any business travel / subsistence will be reimbursed). Our client can offer a salary in the region of £38,000 to £45,000 depending on experience and a good benefits package that includes an excellent pension scheme, budget for training and development and 25 days leave (+bank holidays).
