UX DesignerHertfordshire with 2 or 3 days WFH per weekCirc £55,000 - £60,000 + Bonus Our client is a leading international supply chain business that works with some of the world’s biggest brands. They’ve created a new UX Designer position to evolve their core internal and external (customer and supplier facing) solutions running on the Web / Salesforce platform. This in an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, high performing, international team environment where the UX Designer can flourish and use their expertise to create intuitive solutions. The position is based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire with the flexibility to work from home 2 or 3 days per week. There’ll also be an occasional need to attend workshops in North America (USA & Canada) and Europe (mainly France) from time to time. Key Duties and Responsibilities include;
- User Research: Conduct user research to understand the needs, behaviours, and pain points of users. Use findings to inform design decisions.
- UX Design: Create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes that improve the usability and user experience of applications.
- User Testing: Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine designs and ensure they meet user requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product Leads, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective and user-friendly solutions.
- Visual Design: Apply principles of visual design to create aesthetically pleasing and consistent user interfaces within the platform ecosystem.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain design documentation, including user personas, user flows, and design specifications.
Skills and Experience required;
- Previous experience as a UX designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating Web Portal or Salesforce, or Data & Analytics reporting project.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar software for creating wireframes and prototypes.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a process driven international work environment.
- Ability to analyse data and user feedback to make informed design decisions.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Proficiency in Salesforce would be advantageous but not essential as would any proficiency HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SVG.
Our client can offer a salary in the region of £55,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience) plus an attractive benefits package that includes a bonus scheme
