1st Line IT Technical Support Specialist required for this newly created position with a super company based in Fleet, Hampshire. Due to team expansion the 1st Line IT Technical Support Specialist will be joining a small and highly customer focused IT Support team that is responsible for providing Deskside and Remote support to approx. 100 users across two sites. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to broaden their technical skillset with a people focused company offering real support to training and career development. It will suit candidates with at least 12 months experience on IT Helpdesk / Service Desk triage providing 1st Line Support to users in their use of IT applications. As well as doing Helpdesk Triage and being the main point of contact for IT issues the 1st Line Technical Support Specialist will gain more experience with 2nd line support as well as regular involvement in IT project work. We would be interested in candidates that already have 2nd line experience as long as they appreciate they will be the main 1st line resource in the team.
To be considered for this 1st Line Support role candidates should have previous IT experience providing Triage and 1st line support for general day to day IT issues including Active Directory administration, MS Office and Windows 7 & 10. You will also need to be familiar with using Helpdesk / Service Desk software tools to manage tickets / issues that have been logged. As well as providing you with the necessary training and development our client can offer a varied and interesting role and reward you with an attractive salary in the region of £23,000 – £28,000 depending on experience, plus there’s an excellent benefits package that includes a generous performance related bonus, pension, 25 days holiday and health care scheme.
